Manga Monday: Witch Hunter by Cho Jung-man

This week for Manga Monday I’m covering a Manwha instead of a typical Manga. It’s Witch Hunter by Cho Jung-man!

Plot Synopsis: In a world where witches have declared war against humanity, causing two-thirds of the world to fall apart, the surviving human population has gathered specialists with the power to hunt and destroy witches.

Tasha Godspell, also known as the “Magic Marksman,” is one of the best Witch Hunters there is. Along with his sword-wielding Jack-o’-Lantern partner known as Halloween, Tasha puts his magical training and weaponry to good use, in his constant battles against witches.

Plot: The plot’s fairly dark, but it’s still pretty good. I wish it was being translated more regularly, but that’s just my personal nitpick.

Characters: Tasha and Halloween are excellent main characters and the rest of the cast is quite good. It is a fairly large cast as well, which is nice.

Art: The artwork is quite good, as good as any Japanese Manga of a similar time period.

Overall: This is a great read, if you don’t mind the absolutely sporadic translation speeds.

For those who like: Shonen Series, Action, Urban Fantasy, Drama.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
