This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the second set of chapters in the story of Long Haochen! It’s Divine Throne Chapters 41-80 by Tang Jia San Shao!

Plot Synopsis: Long Haochen sucessfully became a Knight, and trained hard with his father to learn everything he could about being both a Guardian Knight and Retribution Knight and awoke his spiritual powers and discovered he was a Scion of Light, a Knight with incredibly high Light affinity. He decides to become both a Guardian Knight and Retribution Knight and is training with his father when demons attack the village he and his family live in. His father and mother leave in order to let Long Haochen grow up without their protection in order to fully become the best he can, and he travels to the nearby Hao Yue city in order to further his training alongside his sworn sister Li Xin.

Plot: These second of chapters take us through the preliminary parts of the Demon Hunt Squad Exams and let us learn more about the rest of the Temple Alliance, most specifically about the Mage and Warrior Temples. This is an excellent set of chapters that expand greatly on the world building of Divine Throne and make the world much more clear.

Characters: We get to meet quite a few new characters and even get to see a few old faces as well. Lin Xin and Sima Xian are probably my two favorite characters we get to meet in these chapters.

Overall: An excellent second set of chapters in an amazing Xuanhaun series. If you aren’t already reading the series, you need to be.
