TNT: Praise the Orc Final Chapters by Lee Jungmin

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the end of Crockta’s adventures. It’s Praise the Orc Final Chapters by Lee Jungmin!

Plot Synopsis: Having decided to fight against the gods and stop the bloodshed between players and actual people who they think of as only NPCs Crockta has fully immersed himself into Elder Lord. Will he be able to end this war in a good way for both planets or will he die as Crockta the Orc Warrior?

Plot: These final set of chapters are pretty good, and while the ending is perfect it is still enjoyable. Thankfully there is a couple extra chapters that take place after the main story, although not all of them have been translated yet.

Characters: We’ve met the vast majority of the cast by now, with only a couple minor additions being added. Tiyo is still my favorite character though after Crockta.

Overall: A great series, if you hadn’t started reading it already I suggest you do so.

That’s it for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s also my first fully covered story for this column!

TNT: Praise the Orc Chapters 160-190 by Lee Jungmin

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’ve got the penultimate set of chapters in Crockta’s journey. It’s Praise the Orc Chapters 160-190 by Lee Jungmin!

Plot Synopsis: Having returned from the North a victor and even more famous, Crockta now is on a journey to stop the atrocities that his fellow players are committing, while not even knowing the truth behind Elder Lord. His quest for answers has given him some that he didn’t even think was possible, but now that he has them he knows what he must do.

Plot: This is a really solid set of chapters and while it’s not the climax of the story, it does set up the events leading to that. I won’t spoil anything else, frankly I feel like I already have said too much.

Characters: We get a few new faces, but mostly it’s old familiar faces we are dealing with. Tiyo and Crockta are still my two favorite characters, and these chapters just cement that opinion I have.

Overall: This is a series that’s worth reading, while not being absolutely spectacular it’s pretty darn good.

TNT: Praise the Orc Chapters 81-120 by Lee Jungmin

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the third set of chapters in Crockta’s journey for justice. It’s Praise the Orc Chapters 81-120 by Lee Jungmin!

Plot Synopsis: Crockta journeyed to the sealed northern lands in order to find answers to questions he has. Joining him is Tiyo, gnome marksman extraordinaire. Here though he was met with Orcs, but they weren’t the same as the proud and noble people he knew from the south….

Plot: This set of chapters details Crockta’s adventures in the North and while they aren’t wrapped up by the end of this set, the majority of the story is dealt with in these 40 chapters. The story has picked up steam and is now rocketing towards the end, and by the time you finish chapter 120, you’ll be done with half the story.

Characters: We get quite a few new faces, including one very obvious expy of a certain famous scimitar wielding character… However Tiyo is still my favorite.

Overall: A solid set of chapters marking the halfway mark through this series. It’s hit it’s stride and it’s only going to rocket it’s way to the end from here on out.

TNT: Praise the Orc Chapters 41-80 by Lee Jungmin

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the second set of chapters in Crockta’s rise to power. It’s Praise the Orc Chapters 41-80 by Lee Jungmin!

Plot Synopsis: Jung Ian, a cafe owner with a dark past, jumped into the world of virtual reality Elder Lord in order to protect his sister from any predators. However, things may not be as simple as they seem, as the world and its inhabitants proved to be much deeper than he believed them to be. Witness as he explores the lands of Elder Lord as an orc, a species labeled as the “game creator’s mistake”, making fast friends and defeating any and all before him!

Plot: This set of chapters is where the story picks up quite a bit, although my previous criticism regarding how little attention his sister gets will hold throughout the book. Frankly while the story is good, it’s not amazing and there are many things that could’ve been improved, like including Ian’s sister in the plot for more than a few sentences here or there.

Characters: In this set of chapters we get introduced to one of my favorite characters in the entire story, as for who he is, dot, I’ll leave that for you to find out. I think I gave a big enough hint already.

Overall: A solid set of chapters in a good, but not amazing, series.

TNT: Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 06 by Toika

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the sixth set of chapters in Yu IlHan’s adventures. It’s Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 06 by Toika!

Plot Synopsis: Having adopted a dragon as his son, Yu IlHan has set up his armor and weapon shop Vanguard that sells equipment to those who helped him out during prior events, like Kang MiRae and her group. But the storm is only intensifying and what is coming towards Earth is something even Yu IlHan wasn’t expecting to happen….

Plot: This is a fun set of chapters, mostly because it really sets Mir up as a badass in his own right. I won’t say much other than that, because it would really be too spoilerific.

Characters: Mir was probably my favorite character in this set of chapters, although MiRae and YuNa were great as well.

Overall: The story has really taken off now, and the ride only continues to get more intense from here on out. If you aren’t reading this series yet, you really need to do so.

That’s it for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday.
