TNT: Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 04 by Toika

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the fourth entry in the journey of everyone’s favorite foreshadow destroyer. It’s Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 04 by Toika!

Plot Synopsis: Having traveled to Japan to help combat a Dungeon Wave, Yu IlHan and his freeloading companions Erta and Lita got caught up in an epic battle across Japan where IlHan has earned the moniker Susanoo after the Japanese storm god. Now while fighting against a huge monster he’s called the Orochi IlHan is suddenly hit by a new sensation…

Plot: This is pretty action packed again, although there are some serious plot developments that occur as well. I won’t get into the details of them, because spoilers, but this book just might happen to be my favorite of the ones I’ve covered so far.

Characters: We get to meet some new faces, although as they are pretty spoiler-ific I won’t go into detail. My favorites is still IlHan, for his constant foreshadow destruction.

Overall: If you aren’t reading this series yet, you really ought to be.

TNT: Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 03 by Toika

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the third book in Yu IlHans journey. It’s  Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 03 by Toika!

Plot Synopsis: Having overcome the Reaper that ambushed him in the Abandoned World, Yu IlHan returns back to Earth to work on his equipment in his forge. He receives a couple visitors, one expected and another unexpected, sort of…

Plot: This book moves the plot very quickly along, with plenty of battles to enjoy. I won’t say it’s there isn’t a boring “info dump” because there are some portions that could be called that, but that’s what you get for reading a LitRPG.

Characters: We get introduced to a couple new faces, but mostly it’s just people we know in this book. Of them all I quite enjoyed Lita’s portions.

Overall: A solid third entry, this also marks the first sixth of the book approximately.

TNT: Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 02 by Toika

Hey all I’m back with the second entry in one of my favorite Korean series for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 02 by Toika!

Plot Synopsis:  Left out during the elementary school picnic. Left out during the middle school camp. Left out during the high school trip. I finally became a college student, and what? I’m left out from all of humanity? Yu IlHan watches over the earth alone while everybody’s away in other worlds…

Plot: The plot of this second book picks right back up with the battle of the Shadow Panther cub and Yu IlHan and Kang MiRae. The rest of the book is just as good and action packed. It’s also just as hilarious as the first book with just as many references.

Characters: We get introduced to a couple new characters, my favorite being Na YuNa. That being said Yu IlHan is still my favorite, because he’s a monster.

Overall: An excellent second entry. If you aren’t reading this series already you really ought to be.

TNT: Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 01 by Toika

This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering the first book in a just recently completely translated series! It’s Everyone Else is a Returnee Book 01 by Toika!\

Plot Synopsis: Left out during the elementary school picnic. Left out during the middle school camp. Left out during the high school trip. I finally became a college student, and what? I’m left out from all of humanity? Yu IlHan watches over the earth alone while everybody’s away in other worlds…

Plot: The plot in this first book (each book is 25 chapters long excepting the final book which is 24) is pretty awesome. I mean I don’t think I’ve ever really enjoyed reading about a person like Yu IlHan before. He is the biggest loner in the universe. But it was very interesting and entertaining with tons of references to a bunch of Asian pop culture ranging from Doraemon to Digimon.

Characters: Yu IlHan is an awesome main character, frankly he’s probably one of my favorites of all time thus far. He’s scary smart, except about himself, but he’s also pretty hilarious. Lita is also quite fun, although she’s really not around that much in these chapters. Erta is also pretty funny, although she is prone to info dump, it’s usually pretty important info. The rest of the cast we get to meet in this book is great as well, although we’ve got a small amount compared to later on.

Overall: If you love the Isekai Genre this is a great take on it, but it’s also an awesome LitRPG at the same time. This is a must read for pretty much everyone, it’s a pretty awesome series.

For those who like: Isekai, LitRPG, Action, Adventure, Amazing Plot, Fantastic Cast of Characters.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
