Shoujo Saturday: Akatsuki no Yona by Kusanagi Mizuho

This week I’m covering Akatatsuki no Yona by Kusanagi Mizuho.

Plot Synopsis: Yona is the sole princess of the kingdom, living the luxurious and carefree life as a princess should. She has it all: the finest clothes and cosmetics, the most divine sweets, a loving emperor as a father, and the hottest cousin crush, Soo-won, anyone could ever hope to have. Now, if only her bodyguard, Son Hak, wasn’t so annoying to her and her hair wasn’t so red.

Plot: The plot is pretty good, and it’s fairly action packed for a Shoujo series.

Characters: Yona really does a bunch of growing up over the course of the series, and it’s good to see that, I like Hak the best though.

Art: The artwork is very good, although I wish it had a bit more linework for details sometimes.

Overall: If you enjoy action series with a bit of fantasy mixed in you’ll love this one.

For those who like: Drama, Action, Fantasy, Excellent Plot.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
